As with any business there are costs involved, these will obviously depend on your intentions with your online presence,

Whether or not you want it to be a business and earn some money or you are just wanting to run a blog for family and friends.

At the very least you are going to be up for a domain name which you can purchase for as low as $20.00 for the year and a hosting account to host your website, this will set you back for as low as $5.00 per month.

There are other costs you will need to outlay if you are intending to run a business but these two are the basics and are unavoidable if you want to be on the internet.

I will cover the basics in a bit more detail with info on both the domain names and the hosting in the next posts.
